About us and what we do

Here's more information about who we are, how we work, and what value we aim to create. If you're curious to know more about us that's not covered by these topics, feel free to reach out to us directly.

Not yet, no. As of today, we're purely a consulting consulting company within the People Management sector.

We are, however - parallell to consulting - developing concepts and solutions that will form the basis for scalable technology solutions, which will include AI-based technology. Our ambition is to gradually develop these into commercial free-standing products.

Although we work with the same general domain - HR or People Managment - we have a slightly different approach in how we tackle assignments.

Traditional HR consultancies often focus on solving specific challenges using established methods and standardized approaches. That typically alleviates the immediate problem for the client.

We, however, aim to go one step further. We don't just focus on solving the immediate problem, but also work out how to evolve the client's People Management practices to prevent similiar problems from reoccurring, or at least leaving the client better equipped to tackle them in the future.

That means we solve urgent HR challenges, just like traditional HR-consuting firms, but we also work systemically with a business-first mindset with the goal of making clients' People Managment practices more measurable, governable, and future-ready.

The name Metavalue reflects how we view People Management in modern organizations, and what we believe its purpose is: to generate business value.

“Meta” stands for the grand workings of People Management within an organization — the holistic perspective. For us, it’s about leveraging our understanding of how business processes, organizational structure, and people interact, and designing solutions that benefit the value-creation of the system as a whole — instead of just optimizing individual parts.

“Value” is about prioritizing business critical impact. People Management is not a goal in and of itself. It should instead serve to strengthen business effectiveness, enable better decision-making, and contribute to building long-term competitiveness.

In short - the name “Metavalue” expresses our ambition to build next generation People Management-platforms that stem from a business-value creation perspective, generate actual measurable value and saves time and money for organizations.
